How can I pick up my share?

Shares can be picked up on the farm at 25 Stone House Road, Damascus, PA 18415, on Wednesday from 5-7 PM.  

What if I cannot pick up on Wednesdays?

If you have a friend that is also a CSA member with us, see if it is possible to have them pick up your share each week or trade off doing pick-ups for both of you.

If this doesn’t work for you, you can buy our vegetables at our weekly market-style On- Farm Store, where you will be able to shop all of our seasonal vegetable offerings, or visit our stand at the farmers’ market.

What if I miss my pick-up?

If you know you will miss your pick-up, we encourage you to have a friend or family member pick it up for you. However, if you notify us at least 2 days before your pick-up date, we will donate your share.

If you forget to pick up or are late to pick up your share, we will donate it unless you notify us at csa@goodfindfarm.com immediately and we can arrange a suitable time for you to pick it up. For us, the best time is during the hours that our on-farm store is open.

How much produce will be in my weekly share?

In each share you will get a selection of 7 to 10 items of what’s fresh on the farm. 

We include a diverse variety of items in each share. Each share will contain the equivalent of $30 - $40 of produce. We estimate that the Full Share will feed 3-4 people a week. If you purchase a Half Share, this will feed 1 to 2 people for 2 weeks.

The variation depends on what is growing and the abundance of our harvests. Expect more valuable boxes in the height of summer through the fall.

I don’t need that much food, can I get a smaller share?

You can purchase a Half Share, where you will get a box of veggies every other week instead of every week.

If this doesn’t work for you, you can buy our vegetables at our weekly market-style On- Farm Store, where you will be able to shop all of our seasonal vegetable offerings, or visit our stand at the farmers’ market.

When will the CSA run?

Our CSA runs from June 1st - October 31st for full and half share members (22 weeks).

We also offer a Summer Share option, which runs for 10 weeks from June 30th until September 1st (Labor Day).

How do I pay for my share?

PAY ONLINE: Pay for your share in our online store.

PAY BY CHECK: Select your share by going to our online store and adding it to your online shopping cart. Enter the discount code PAYBYCHECK during check out, which will allow you to submit your membership info without payment. Write us a check made out to Good Find Farm and put it in the mail to: 25 Stone House Rd, Damascus PA 18415. We love snail mail!

Whenever possible we prefer payments to be made in full (we really appreciate this). However we do have payments plans and are willing to work with you. To sign up on a payment plan, enter the discount code 20%DEPOSIT during check out. We will be in touch to arrange payment with you or you can email us at csa@goodfindfarm.com to let us know you would like to pay in installments.

How long will my produce last?

Since our produce is harvested the day before distribution, and we use the best post-harvest handling practices we can, it stays fresh much longer than produce that you might buy at a grocery store. Even our washed greens and lettuces, and most herbs, will be fresh for up to 2 weeks if stored properly.

Notes on COVID-19

We understand that at some point our farmers may be exposed to COVID-19. If so, we will NOT be able to handle produce or distribute your shares for at least 2 to 3 weeks. What if I need a pick-up location closer to me? What if I need delivery?

Currently, we only offer pick-ups on the farm. We would love to be able to offer other pick-up locations and delivery options and hope to be able to in the future, but at the moment our limited labor has to be focused on growing and harvesting.
